CEO and Co-founder, D3X

I started D3X after a few years on the finance and business side of the pharmaceutical world, built around a nutrient I think gets far less attention than it deserves.

Why I started D3X

I kept coming back to one question. Why do we spend so much treating illness and so little preventing it? Only a small share of US healthcare spending goes toward prevention, even though preventable conditions drive so much of the cost. That gap bothered me.

It got personal when I found out I was low on vitamin D, and only because I went and tested. That sent me down a rabbit hole, and what surprised me was how common it is. More time indoors, less sun, poorer diets. For something this foundational, vitamin D gets shockingly little attention.

Coming from pharma, you see fast where the money and energy go, and it is rarely the simple, foundational stuff. When I looked at what was on the shelf for vitamin D, two things stood out. Everything looked the same, and the ingredients did not impress me either. Seed oil bases, fillers, sweeteners, proprietary blends. So I built the opposite. Liquid D3 and K2, three ingredients, organic olive oil, glass bottle, made in the USA. And it is built around consistency, because even a good product only matters if people actually take it.

What I write about

On the D3X blog I cover the research behind vitamin D, how to read a supplement label, and why formulation and delivery matter more than most brands admit. I read the studies myself and link every claim to its source.
